Monthly Educational Workshops

 

UEP holds monthly educational workshops at various Michigan venues. Workshops typically feature a keynote speaker or panel from the events industry and are intended to be of interest to all event planning and hospitality professionals. They are held on the second Wednesday of the month and begin with a half-hour of networking and refreshments. The program lasts about an hour and includes a site tour. Attendance fees are as follows:

 

Members 

Collegiate Planner, Contract Planner, Student or Retiree - $10 

Suppliers, Associate Suppliers and Small Business Suppliers - $15

 

Non members

Collegiate Planner, Contract Planner, Student or Retiree - $15 
Suppliers, Associate Suppliers and Small Business Suppliers - $20
Fees assume advance, early registration. Late registration fees will include an additional $10 charge.

 

Registrants will be able to print an invoice for their records or to process payment. The preferred method of payment is via credit card (or University Department P-card) on UEP's secure website. If payment via check is required, please mail checks (made payable to University Event Planners) to UEP, 328 Fairhills Drive, Ypsilanti, MI 48197. When sending a check, your NAME, CONTACT information and the REASON for the payment must be provided. Note that payments via credit card will be processed much faster than those made via check. Check processing can take up to seven business days.
